Issaquah Schools Foundation

About

Our History

The Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) was formed in 1987 and is an independent, non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization. Since our founding, ISF has provided over $3 million dollars toward programs that encourage academic excellence, support struggling students and promote professional development. Our annual operating budget has grown significantly in the past five years to over $689,000 in 2006-2007.

Our Mission

The Issaquah Schools Foundation drives resources to help all students to achieve the promise of their academic potential.

We do this by bridging the gap between funds the state provides for basic education and the dollars our schools need to prepare students for success in school and in life.

Fundraising

Issaquah School District parents actively provide much needed support to the schools and the Foundation. The majority of our income comes directly from parents and other individuals within our community. In addition to our major fundraising events (Nourish Every Mind Luncheon and Calling for Kids), we welcome donations to our Annual Fund throughout the year.

You may make contributions directed to specific programs, if desired. Donations can be made via this website or mailed directly to ISF. You may also contribute by designating ISF in your employer's United Way Campaign.

Your donations allow ISF to help fill the financial gaps and provide needed tools and programs to both the teachers and students of the district.

Thank you for your support!
