The 10th Annual Nourish Every Mind Benefit Luncheon
gave Issaquah Schools Foundation much to celebrate. At the end of the day,
the foundation’s largest annual event raised a record $356,000—a figure that put
smiles on the faces of event co-chairs Elizabeth Brown (Cougar Ridge PTSA) and
Leslie Patten (Sunset PTA) and their small but mighty committee of dedicated
volunteers. The luncheon’s success puts the foundation well on track to reach a
lofty $1 million dollar 2007-2008 fundraising goal.
