Happy New Year!

As you look back on 2009, I hope that you are as pleased as I by your involvement with the Issaquah Schools Foundation. In 2009, we were fueled, more than ever, by the commitment of donors and supporters like you. Despite trying economic times, our family of donors found ways to continue giving to our students and schools. Many volunteered for the VOICE Mentoring Program and gave students in need a helping hand and caring ally. Others joined our Calling for Kids committee and helped produce the biggest and most successful campaign to date. Hundreds more found ways to dig deep and make a personal financial donation--knowing that every dollar contributed would bring our District one step closer to provinding every student with the comprehensive 21st century education they need for success.

Each of you gave us hope for a better future. Your gifts give us confidence that in good times and bad, our community will continue to invest in its greatest resource--our children.

Thank you for helping our children and our community achieve their potential. Best wishes for a terrific new year!

Sincerely,
