Foundation launches Great Schools, Great Communities Campaign

The Issaquah and Sammamish Chambers of Commerce have collaborated with the Foundation to launch the Great Schools, Great Communities campaign. Aimed at small local businesses, the campaign promotes the connection between top-notch schools and a vital community.

Says Matthew Bott, CEO of the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, “The Issaquah School District has a positive impact on our property values, our highly-educated local work force, and on our attractiveness to potential new residents." The community and business benefits of having such an accomplished local educational system are considerable. However, it is only through the support of the local community that our students receive some of the best educational resources available.”

Adds Deb Sogge, Sammamish Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, “Sammamish businesses have always been strong proponents of our school districts. We are happy to partner with the Foundation as they launch this new and affordable opportunity for local businesses to continue supporting great schools.”

Area businesses can join the campaign for as little as $50, and all who participate will receive a Great Schools/Great Communities decal. Other partnership benefits include recognition in an ISF business appreciation ad, presence on the ISF website and, at the $250 level and above, invitation to our annual Nourish Every Mind Benefit Luncheon.
